QuestionI have a peace lily and I left it out over night. Some of the leaves are black, there are only 7 leaves that are still green. I read one question and answer on the website to repot it and water it then an hour later drain the water out of the tray. I was wondering if I should cut the black leaves off.
Thanks
Darrah
AnswerHopefully you are in a warm climate. If if got cold it could have caused the leaves to turn black. Those leaves should be cut off because they are not doing anything for the plant. I dont think re-potting will help much. I put mine in the shower (I have window so it stays there all winter) and let the plant experience high humidity of the warm water, but not directly under the water. Peace lilies are notorious for doing what you describe. Good luck.
