QuestionI live in Niagara Falls, Canada and for the past three years we have had an infestation of tiny "fruit fly" like bugs in our backyard. This always occurs in the beginning of June and it only lasts a couple of days. My neighbour has a hickory tree that constantly drops it's leaves all summer long and we have attributed the problem to her tree. I have noticed knots at the end of the leaves that drop and I sliced one open and noticed hundred of these bugs in it. What can I do??
AnswerHi Lisa,
I am sorry, but I have very little experience with "bugs". I am not an entomologist, so I am relatively unfamiliar with insects that are not directly related to plant pathogenesis.
Maybe you can find an entomologist in AllExperts that can be more helpful.
Sorry.
