QuestionI have noticed recently that one of my azeleas has developed a large amount of grey "lichen" on the woody stems. Any idea of what it might be and how to get rid of it and return the plant to good health?
Many thanks
Alan
AnswerHi,Alan Azaleas are known to getting Lichens which is fungi ,and comes in green ,and greyish tint.Go to your garden center and get ortho Brand Dormant Disease Control and read and follow directions and spray them good.I also would treat them with a fertilizer with a n/p/k#20-10-10 to stimulate growth. Thankyou, Chad
