QuestionBlessings,
Dear, i hail from a good fertile land of Pakistan. Here in my garden i've grown so many of vegetables and fruits simultaneously and they all grow and fruit well but i encounter a problem regarding my pomegranate plant, initially the fruit is good, healthy looking but later on, it becomes sort of hollow, actually the seeds become like that and doesn't flourish well like they initially were and fruit falls down like its sick of an arduous task of clinging to the plant.
Don't know much of plant diseases but am concerned whether its a fruit specie, plant, water supply or some other problem.
Regards,
Taseer Ahmad.
AnswerHi Taseer
Here are two reasons you have a problem in your country.
The most common problem with pomegranates is their failure to set fruit. Inadequate sunlight and lack of pollination are two of the most common reasons that pomegranates do not set fruit. Plant two or more pomegranate plants, as cross-pollination increases fruit set.
