QuestionWe planted a hedge of lilac this spring and they actually bloomed for awhile and all looked great. Now the leaves have brown dead channels between the veins and the plants wilt if not watered every 2-3 days. I have taken pictures which I can email. We don't want to lose our new hedge and want to treat it as soon as possible.
Thanks for any help you can give.
The site wouldn't let me upload my photos. I can send in email to you?

Yes, you are welcome to send images. Use

Be sure to review them on your computer first, to be sure they are in focus. Fuzzy pictures are not useful. You can send up to 4 or 5 pictures to this address.
Try taking (1) closeup of a group of affected leaves showing the areas between the veins and (2) a photo showing a portion of the hedge with 2-3 plants that are affected.
Questions for you:
(1) When did the plants start showing signs of distress?
(2) Did they start to wilt before the leaves had the dead channels on them or vise versa?
(3) Are all of the plants that were planted showing distress as you described?
(4) Anything sprayed or applied otherwise to the plants?
(5) What is your watering schedule for these plants?
(6) Does the soil drain well or does it stay wet easily?
