Question
I love Marigold. Each year I plant marigold in full sun near borders to give color to my yard. They flourish good initially but later on they are infested by this silvery scales that eat up the leaves first & then devour the flowers. Daisies are next. Can you please advise how I can successfully grow Marigold without being destroyed by this silvery disease. My neigbours Marigold flourish beautifully.

I am very sorry for not answering sooner.  Since I am not an expert on insects, I am afraid that I cannot be of much help unless a description of the insect is more precise.  There are virtually hundreds of insects that eat the foliage of marigolds and daisies.
