QuestionHello,
my 19-year old potted calamondin tree has very recently shown signs of distress: the base of the
many branches is drying up and turning a light yellow/whitish color, then the leaves on these
branches drop. This is progressing rather quickly. One such branch also had a sticky brown substance at the base of the branch (the other affected branches don't). The plant has been very healthy over the years and this is the first occurrence of this particular problem.
Can you help me to identify and solve this problem?
Thank you very much.
AnswerHi lori, First you plant has aphids and is unhappy. You need to make it healthy again and I would suggest Atomic Grow. It is an organic product that will raise the brix of the plant which is the sugar content. When the sugar is raised the plant becomes healthy. Bugs go to unhealthy plants. The aphids are sucking the life out of your citrus. kathy
