Hi Kathy,
I live in Lake Havasu City, AZ, one of the hottest places in the country  I have an African Sumac in my backyard.  I water weekly and have been giving ironite to keep the tree green  I have noticed the tree tuning orange and looks very unhealthy.  Can you help?

Hi Courtney,  I am in FL where it is rainy and humid.  I will try and answer the best I can.  Here is a site that may help.  http://xtremehorticulture.blogspot.com/2011_06_27_archive.html  I would use epsom salts that you soak your feet in as it is minor nutrients that  your plant is missing.  I think sumac loose there leaves in the winter, is this possible?  Also my last thought that it is not getting enough water being in a dry climate.  kathy
