What should I treat the earth around my trees to taken up into the trees to kill the scales?   I have been told that there is such a treatment to kill the scales when they eat the sap from a treated tree.    I NEED HELP--More so my trees need help.  Thank you will be on the way for a good treatment for my case.  <<Walter>>

Check out a product called BAYER ADVANCED GARDEN TREE AND SHRUB INSECT CONTROL.  It comes in a blue plastic bottle, mixed with water (follow label directions on the bottle)and applied to the soil underneath the tree.  It contains the insecticide called Imidacloprid.  Don't expect immediate results.
