QuestionLast August I bought 4 calamonden trees. They grew well as indoor plants for quite a while. In February, one of the trees lost all of its leaves and just died. This spring, another tree did the same thing. The brances turn brown and the plant just dies. I have two left; one is starting to do the same thing. A branch turns brown and the leaves fall off. I'd hate to loose them all! Any suggestions? They were all healthy plants untill this started happening.
Thanks!
AnswerHi David, I have a feeling it is a watering issue. If it is in a container with a tray under it to catch the water and you do not remove the water after 15 minutes you will drown your plant. If it has been moved up to a larger container water mainly around the outside of the pot as it dries from the outside in and you could be drowning your plant. Use a slow release fertilizer as the wrong fertilizer can harm your plant. Yellow leaves not enough water and black tips too much water. Hope some of these suggestions help. kathy
