Question
Have two peach trees in my yard the trees have hardly no leaves on them but do have fruit. I have noticed a problem on the base of one my trees last year. It has a gummy clear Secreation coming out of the bottom took a little bit of it off today 6-2-11 and found a wourm like a grub. have I lost my trees? can the problem be fixed? I have planted another tree this year will that tree get this problem?

Hi Carl, you have borers in your tree where the sap is coming out.  You can take a sewing needle and poke in and around the area and kill the bug.  That is a quick fix.  You can check out Atomic Grow to make your trees real healthy so they do not come back.  It is organic and will not harm the earth, plant or you.  kathy
