interesting plant ?   Hello C.L,
I am from Southern Central Kentucky and have recently Purchased a home in an established older area, with lots of beautiful plants , flowers , shrubs and trees. I am fairly familiar with most of the flowering trees, and shrubs , but The type of plant or grass or shrub or whatever this is in the photo I have attached is something I have yet to see , and was wondering if you could help me identify this plant , I think its pretty , and hope its easy to maintain ! Thanks again !!!

Andrea,
You have Arundo donax variegate - aka varigated Arundo grass. The only care it really needs is an application of organic fertilizer in the spring and a deep soaking every week if it doesn't rain. This plant gets large! You should cut it down at the end of the fall so that it will grow fresh in the spring.
