Questionwe have quite a lot of window box petunias and wondering if they're history after the summer. we live in germany so we'll be well below freezing by october/november. is there anything we can do to save them for next year? bring them inside maybe? Or, will we be buying more next spring? thank you!!
AnswerPetunias are considered a hardy annual. That means they grow for one season, go to seed, and die. The fact that they are hardy means they will survive several weeks longer than other annuals due to their tolerance for light frost. But once a hard freeze hits, they will die. Unfortunately, you definitely will need to purchase more next spring.
Good luck, and have a great weekend.
