I live in Falmouth and I am looking for a place to purchase composted cow manure by the yard. Any ideas?

In years past a man named Paul Sullivan sold it in bulk...he used to advertise in the classifieds of the Cape Cod Times so you might check there.  You could also call Cape Resources although I think that they might just have compost in bulk.  Watts Turkey Farm has compost made with turkey poop, and you can get horse manure (what I use) at any stable for free but you usually have to haul it yourself.  Cow is harder to find on Cape because we don't have any dairy farms here anymore. You might call the Cooperative Extension office in Barnstable and see if they have any positive leads... Roberta Clark orders bulk cow manure every year for the Master Gardeners demonstration garden at the fairgrounds, so she might be of help.
