QuestionHi. I have a 20 ur old euphorbia trogons green which has mow hit the ceiling and started to bend. I thought that it may realise to stop growing but it's got it way to 7 ft so I guess it just doesn't want to stop now!
Can I lop the top off or should I see if kew gardens would like it?
Thanks
AnswerDear Richard,
By all means prune the plant. With a sharp knife(sterilized with alcohol) cut the largest arm down as far as you need to so it doesn't show the cut. Wear gloves because the sap can cause rash, etc in some people. Eventually, new arms will grow around what's left of the branch or branches you cut back and the plant will be bushier.
