QuestionHi! I have a pair of healthy adult succulents (a 3-foot sansevieria and a 2-foot ponytail palm). I'm moving to a new apartment and I'm wondering if it's safe to expose them to winter air during the moving process. (Their soil would be totally dry.) The air would be about 45 degrees F and the exposure would be 10 to 15 minutes. Would that be okay for them, or should I not try that? Thank you.
AnswerHello June,
If the transportation time is short, than it probably won't do any damage. If kept in longer periods, than it can suffer from frost. Cover them with a blanket or towel during the moving process. Be aware that cold snow or rain may kill your plants.
