how often and how much do i water!? this is so beautiful I don't want to kill it like i have many others!! also there is a plant i have it grows one branch with THICK plastic looking leaves BRIGHT GREEN one half already died, want to save the rest! many people look at it to see if it is real or not HAVE NO IDEA OF THE NAME and ideas>? then i will look up pic's thanks i'm new to this site and i'm soo excited this is wonderful and thank you for volunteering I don't even have a green fingernail ...yet!!

I have no idea about your other plant without seeing a picture. If you can send one to [email protected] I will try to identify it for you. As far as your Christmas cactus goes, I found a very comprehensive webpage for care  of your cactus. With the exception of one incorrect statement regarding it not being a true cactus, it is very accurate. Hope this helps.
