QuestionHi Greg;
I have a 8'tall and about 8'wide milk cactus that I let grow wild for about 25 years. It is too big for the house and I need to prune it. Any suggestions on how to do this so I don't kill the plant? It is currently outside and will not survive the winter. I tried selling it and giving it away but nobody was interested. Thanks!
AnswerEdie,
Just trim it like you would a bush or a small tree, just do not remobe more than 50% of it. You have to be careful though because the sap in it is toxic and you do not want to get it on you or in your eyes, so be very careful. Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Greg
