I have a white fiborous growth on the top of the cactus.  can you identify and advise treatment.

it is normal. Depending on the variety, the color can range from white to dark gold in color. I fit does not look like the picture, please send me a photo to: [email protected] and I will try to identify the problem. Thanks.
