QuestionMy century plant is over 20 years old but has only thrived since I moved (it's almost the only plant which likes it here). It now has two little ones. As I remember, cactus cuts should be dried before planting. This plant is in a pot about 1 1/2" deep and the new pot is about 3" deep. When I cut the babies off, should I let all three plants dry out a little before re-potting or just the 2 little ones? Also, if I remember right (sold all my plant books when I moved) you shouldn't water right away - wait how long? Thanks for any help you can give me.
AnswerEleanor,
I apologize for the delay in answering you, I have been having computer issues. You are right about letting them dry out. And yes, go ahead and water them right away, but then let the soil dry out before watering them again. Good luck!
Sincerely,
Greg
