QuestionHi. I have an aloe plant that seems to pushing itself out of its pot. It is in a 9" pot and the span of its of its "leaves" is over 24". I bought it when it was in a tiny 3" pot and wasn't nearly so large.
How do I slow its growth? And how large will it get?
Thanks.
AnswerDear Carey,
There really is no way to slow its growth other than cut back on watering, but if it is healthy, I wouldn't change a thing. As far as how big it will get depends on the type of Aloe it is. There are Aloes that can grow 50 feet tall or more and ones that look like blades of grass. If you would like me to I.D. the Aloe for you, send a picture to
[email protected] and I can give an idea about how large it will get.
Sincerely,
Greg
