QuestionGreg,
My jade plant was very full and was doing great, but recently my jade plant loses a couple of leaves per day. I think I was over watering it- I was watering it once a week. I have moved the plant in front of a window which receives a lot of direct sunlight and I have reduced the amount of water the plant receives. But the leaves still continue to fall and some branches have fallen off.
The leaves feel healthy and are still their natural green color. Please help!
Thanks,
Danielle
AnswerDear Danielle,
The leaf die back may be normal, however it could also indicate root damage. Direct sunlight is not the best for Jade plants, especially if they are not used to it. Cutting back on the watering may help. Also, a product called "Superthrive" is excellent for helping plants recover from problems. You should be able to find it at your local nursery.
Also, check out this website, it has a lot of great info.

Hope this helps.
