QuestionI got a succulent at a local farm market a few years ago and only recently discovered that it was some type of Haworthia. Now I'm trying to figure out exactly what type it is. I think it's either an H. attenuata or H. fasciata, but there very similar and the pictures I've found on the internet arn't helping with the identification. My plants about 3-4 inches tall with long, triangular darak green leaves. The leaves are about two inches long, with bold white markings on the underside/outside of the leaves, and some small white spots along the topside/inside. I thought it was an attenuata because of the spots on the inside of the leaves but all the pictures I've seen of them don't look right. Based on pictures it looks more like a fasciata. Is it possible it's a hybrid between the two?
AnswerDear Kayla,
There is always the possibility of a mix of the two, but remember some species can be highly variable. Check out this site:

There seems to be some discreet differences between the two and H. attenuata is a little smaller in size. Hopefully this will help.
Sincerely,
