QuestionI have an aloe vera plant that was given to me. This plant is HUGE. It must have at least 30 or so pups on it. How do I safely and succesfully remove them from the mother plant without hurting either? The other issue with this is that the base of most of the pups are in the pot which I cannot get to. Short of breaking the pot that they are in, I do not know how to get them out.
AnswerDear Teri,
They can just be broken off at the main stem. If this is a Aloe Vera that is. There are many clustering type Aloe's available, so make sure that is what you have. If you send me a picture, I can identify it for you..send it to

Sincerely,
Greg
