QuestionI HAVE A PRICKLY PEAR CACTUS THAT GREW FROM A SEED FROM FRUIT I PURCHASED.
THE CACTUS IS SEVERAL YEARS OLD AND HAS NEVER FLOWERED.
CAN YOU PROVIDE SOME GUIDANCE AS TO WHETHER THE PLANT CAN PRODUCE FLOWERS AND FRUIT AND IF SO HOW I CAN DO IT.

Prickly pear cactus cannot be forced to flower, that I know of anyway, especially if it is young. Most cacti only flower after they reach maturity, which for a prickly pear may be many years.
