QuestionI have a Portulaceae Anacampseros variegata...All I can find about propogation is to use seeds....I need more details. Do the flowers form tiny seeds? Can I make a cutting?
If I cant use a cutting, can u tell me more about these seeds??
AnswerDear Arden,
I tried to respond several weeks ago, couldn't get my answer through to you, then sent it to All Experts, asking that it be relayed to you. I guess it wasn't.
Anyway, you can make a cutting. Let it callous, put in a little soil around the plant, and mist it every few days. Don't water it until you see definite growth, at which time you'll be able to transplant it.
Yes, providing the flowers are pollinated, they'll form seeds.
Kind regards,
Jeff
