QuestionHello Greg!
Thanks in advance for helping me with my question! I love plants, but unfortunately was not blessed with a green thumb...AT ALL!
Last week I purchased a very small potted indoor plant. The retailer told me it was a Jade plant that required very little care. She told me not to overwater it.
The leaves look like a jade, but instead of Dark and shiny, the leaves are a soft green, plump and fuzzy. (I can take a picture and email it if you like).
Already I'm seeing that many of the the pretty green leaves are turning yellow/brown.
What am I doing wrong? Is it actually a Jade plant that I have?
Any plant care advise would be GREATLY appreciated!
Please help!
Thank you very much for your time !
AnswerDear Karen,
It doesn't sound like a jade plant to me either. However, you can send me a pic to
[email protected] and I will try to identify it. Try to show the whole plant so I can see whether or not the leaves are dying from the bottom up, or the top down. That will tell what is wrong with your plant, if anything. If there is a foul smell, then rot is the culprit and there isn't much you can do.
I will look forward to your email and pic. Please let me know your watering routine and what kind of light your plant is receiving. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Greg
