Plant dormancy

I have 8 different varieties of venus flytraps and 4 different sarracenia (purpurea, flava, hybrids) that I have been overwintering in the refrigerator crisper drawer as I live in zone 4 and the winters are too harsh. I am moving to Naples Florida (zone 10a) and I would like to know if I should continue to overwinter in the frig or let them stay outdoors in full sun all year round? My current frig method works well as I have had most of the plants for more than 5 years. These plants are  grown in plastic pots and inserted in to a planter with live sphagnum moss. Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Robert,

In Florida, just leave them outside.  Even in zone 10 they experience the decrease in daylight hours and cooler temperatures that induce dormancy.

I noticed on your post you it said you're currently in Georgia is that true or was that a typo.  No place in Georgia is zone 4.

Good Growing!
