QuestionThis is not so much of a problem as much as a maintenance thing. I have a Sarracenia Ruby Throat that some of the pitchers have gotten so big that they are top heavy and are falling down. When this happens do you tie or stake them or is it j u st a natural progression? They all have bugs in them.
AnswerHi Patricia,
It's a little of both, and genetics too. Some varieties just get floppy quickly, others stay more upright. It's perfectly fine to stake them up to maintain a better appearance.
