Question

My blooming Sarracenia   A while ago this spring, I ordered an unidentified Sarracenia bare-root rhizome.  It has bloomed.  Can you identify it?

Hi John,

This is most likely an S. rubra or S. rubra hybrid of some type.  The small dark red flower is a give away for that species, and if you got the plant from us, we had lots of rubra things in the bare root mix.  Send me another photo when the leaves come out, and I can possibly make a better ID.
