Question
picture 1 dewy pine 2
Allexperts,
I have noticed that the Dewy Pine that I bought from you guys looked somewhat sluggish. The plant looks like it is about to die in the near future. I have attached a photos to the email. I watered once a week. I did fertizler the plant ( the same recipe for the Nepenthes was followed.). Thank you for time.
Sincerely,
Weylin
AnswerHi Weylin,
First, make sure you're not keeping the plant too dry. Feel the soil. It should feel slightly damp when you put your finger into it. The pot shouldn't sit in water for long periods, but when it's hot they use lots of water. Also, feed the plant more. Give it actual bugs. Drosophyllum have high food demands. If you see a burst of growth you know you're on the right track.
Good Growing!
