QuestionHey guys, would you please give me your thoughts on this product for Sarracenia during dormancy. I found some scale on my red hood alata and my leucophylla. I cut off all the leaves that had them and I plan to spray with Acephate 75 for now.

This type of product is made for woody shrubs and trees. It works by suffocating the pests and their eggs while inactive in the winter. I would be leery of using it on Sarracenia being a petroleum based product. You often can find dormant sprays based on Canola oil, and those would be safer to try, but still questionable on herbaceous plants.
