QuestionWhy are fungus and mold a problem in a pot with germinating VFT's? Don't they get it in the NC bogs?
John
AnswerHi John,
Some seeds of any plant may succumb to fungus, but overall outside in a natural environment is a totally different creature than a pot in a windowsill. Outside you have wind, rain, organisms that eat fungus and compete with it, and you have strong UV light which kills fungal organisms. Inside a house we harbor a much higher spore count of molds than would be outside.
Good Growing!
