Question
My spatulata sundew has quite a few dead leaves at the bottom.  Should I try to trim the dead leaves off or leave them alone.

Hi Pat,

If you can easily trim some of the dead leaves, go ahead.  It minimizes places mold that can be a problem sometimes.  Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.  It's pretty normal for rosetted sundews to have skirts of dead leaves.
