QuestionI have some sarracenia pitcher plants and flytraps that haven't started growing yet, I was wondering if that was normal. I live in Sherwood Oregon which is near Portland and is in zone 8.
AnswerHi Dillon,
Many of our Sarracenia are just starting to show signs of growth. You'll see it in the really early varieties such as S. flava, but flytraps outdoors and lots of others are only starting to show signs of growth. April is when you will really start to see things take off. We have to get past the spring Equinox, which we just did.
Good Growing!
