QuestionI want to know the Egyptian Carnivorous plants which already exist in Egypt? In which sites they are located?
I know that there is an aquatic carnivorous plant which exists in Borolous Lake and other places but there is a confusion about its scientific name: Utricularia sp. or Potamogeton sp. ?
some friends describe it as having a bladder which sucking the water including the insects
AnswerHello
Only 3 natural carnivorous plants grow in egypt:
Utricularia gibba
Utricularia inflexa
Utricularia stellaris
Many north african countrys do not have any carnivorous plants at all, like lebanon, saudi arabia, koweit and some others.
Unfortunatly, i dont know the exact location of these plants. But i bet you can find them with a single search on google.
Hope this help
