AnswerSo far, I've yet to encounter anyone who said their carnivorous plants grow perfectly fine using that particular brand of soil ingredients. Yet we have numerous complaints from growers that their plants died after using that brand. Their products, as you might guess, is loaded with fertilizer. You're better off being safe than sorry. Avoid using that particular brand for your carnivorous plants. (It's perfectly fine to use them with your other non-carnivorous houseplants.)
We sell soil mixes that are free of fertilizers. Lowe's and Home Depot also sell peat moss and perlite free of fertilizers, but you have to purchase them in bales. You can find them in the outdoor plant section.
Good growing!
