QuestionHi, my S. Leucophylla is only producing what looks to be phyllodia. It grows outdoors in nearly 10 hours of direct sunlight with my S. Flava and S. Alata. Both of those two plants are producing pitchers. But not my Leucophylla, so far its been making phyllodia. It does have some pitchers but they are really thin. I've had the plants for about a month. I thought they only made those leaves for winter dormancy.
AnswerHi Jesus,
Actually, S. leucophylla makes them in the summer when it's at it hottest. Those will be followed later when your weather cools down some by the beautiful fall pitchers.
Good Growing!
