Questionearlier this summer I saved a dente flytrap from our local garden center, I have been growing it for several months now, it has several leaves on it now, it also sent up a flower stalk just a few weeks ago, it looks like it is going to in a couple weeks but right now it is only about 3 inches, is it to late for it to flower to collect seeds?
AnswerHi Dillon,
There's still plenty of time for a Venus Flytrap to bloom and set seed before Fall, but your plant would need to have been cross-pollinated with another Venus Flytrap genetically different than itself.
Good Growing!
