Question
Heliamphora Minor
I would like to know like how old is this Heliamphora Minor and how long is going to take to grow adult pitchers ? My Heliamphora is in a 4 inch pot, you can see it in the photo.
AnswerThe plant is fairly young, perhaps a couple years old. These plants grow very slowly. Even in the best of situations, you might see your first adult pitcher in another year or two. Typically we see Heliamphora remain in this state with juvenile leaves for up to five years before it undergoes a growth spurt.
By the way, we will release adult Heliamphor minor and divisions of other varieties later this summer.
Good growing!
