Baby flytrap dormancy

Question
I have some 1 yr old VFTs i sowed last year. They are about the diameter of a nickel right now. Are there any special requirements i need to know to put the little ones outside? I put an adult flytrap through dormancy in a cold east window last year and rewarded me with a flower stalk. Do you think the window would be better than outside? And is a sulphur based fungicide safe to use on the babies? I live in southern nevada 100 miles away from Las Vegas. zone 10 i believe. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Jaden,

I would say the window is probably safer for young plants than outside, especially since you are in a desert climate where the temperatures can have such extremes from day to night.

Sulfur fungicides are fine on young flytraps.  Just be sure to follow directions on the package for dosage, especially if you are mixing a concentrate.

Good Growing!
