Without roost  

Without roots   Allexperts,

I went looked at my N. Venticosa that I put into a humidity dome.  I went to see if there were any pest down by where the roots are, and when I pulled up the plant there were no roots attached to the plant. The reason why I checked the root part of the plant is I did see very small white insects crawling on the leaves of the plant.  I sprayed the plant last Thursday with Natxia ( sulfur and Pyrthins product.)  The root part of the plant was no longer attached to the main plant.  Is this plant going to make it?  I soaked what was left of the plant in super-thrive for 10 minutes.  Is there any thing I can?  I have attached 2 photos with the email.

Hi Weylin,

This looks like it was the cause of your previous problems with this plant.  These little N. ventricosa are very prone to root rot, and we've had this happen many times with trays of tissue cultured plants.  You may still be able to get it to root again, but definitely keep it fully humid and in bright light.  The SuperThrive was a good idea since it contains a rooting hormone.  After that you will just need to give it time.  If you can keep the plant up around 80 degrees during the day, that will help too.
