Nepenthes Jamban has grayish insects crawling on the surface

Question
can\'t see the bugs but here
can't see the bugs but
Allexperts,

I noticed why my Nepenthes Jamban is not growing as well.  It was because of these grayish insects crawling around.  What do I do about it?  Apply a systemic insecticide to the plant?  I have Naxtria product that has combination of sulfur and Pyrethrin  is that okay to use?  The other option is, should  I repot the plant?   What are the options that you suggest?  Thank you for your time.

Grow Information:
Water:Distilled
lights: 40 watts tubes
I did fertilized with coffee last week.

P.s : I did fertilized a Nepenthes Mira and it seems to like it.

Sincerely,

Weylin

Answer
Hi Weylin,

It sounds like you may have Springtails in the soil.  Your Naxtria should be fine. to use.  You may need to repeat at the recommended intervals.   If the Naxtria doesn't work, then you may need to consider going to a systemic.

Don't repot the plant. Additional root disturbance may not be well tolerated until the plant is a bit bigger.

Good Growing!
