QuestionHello. I already wrote to you a couple of times regarding my mexican pinguicula terrarium.
All seemed to be going well until I noticed some mold growing in there. So I searched the internet and I found a video that said "Daconil" fungicide was safe for CP's. I applied it to the soil surface using a paper towel. Since then I have increased my lighting. Air flow is good.
So... I noticed that a couple of my plants that were thriving before are starting to wilt. I googled it, and found that NO fungicide is safe for pinguicula!!!! YIKES! I did not apply the Daconil directly to my plants, however, I did put it on the soil around the 2 that appear to be wilting. They have new leaves in their centers and only the leaves that are touching the soil seem to be affected so far.
Is there anything I can do? Will they survive?
Thank you

Hello again Sarah, First sorry to hear about the "Daconil" came in contact with two of your beloved plants. You can also safely raise over once over the top of these two plants with a small amount of distilled water. The added air and lower light count can be done more if need too! You have been so start to research the way you have and your plant and hobby will be better for it. Can you please send a photo so I can see if I maybe able to spot anything that may have been over looked and too just to see you plants? Thanks and sorry again about these problems but in this hobby they do happen more then what we want! Later Dan (Daniel Lee Bowen)
