QuestionHello Jake,
I am currently a CT resident, and am looking to dive into the hobby of CPs. I am very much interested in growing Nepenthes Ventricosa on a windowsill in my home. Do you feel that it will be able to thrive in normal household conditions? I was just curious since I live in CT, where it is rather cold, and we do not have humidity in the household. What is the best way to grow this plant to a great size? Or should I use a bottle terrarium?
AnswerHello Neil,
In this case, you want to make sure that your humidity is about 70%. If you can achieve this in your house than you are ok to grow it inside the home on a sunny window location. Otherwise, if you do not have that growing condition you will want to use a terrarium. But either way, you can definitely achieve great size with this if you grow it right.
