Answer
My Black Knight Neps.
Hello Mark,
You have a N. Sanguinea? How long have you had this plant? Now knowing you have a "highlander" type Nepenthes holds the need a temp. deep of 20-30 degrees at nights and full sun...I think with these rainy seasons you may need to add a little artificial lighting but know this plant thrives with partly shaded too, so you may be ok for now. Know this type of Neps don't need a lot of bright sun light. As far as all the added rain should not be a problem as long as the drainage is good and I think Orchid moss, & potting goods are the best for gaining the best drainage. Please keep me posted and would enjoy a photo of your plant! Happy growing, Dan #Daniel Lee Bowen#
