Question
nepenthes Mira
Allexpert,
I got the nepenthes Mira from you guys about sometime this year. I recently repotted the plant. I have the plant under a some CFL ligthts on a 14hour timer. I was wondering if this plant can go outside for the summer. The summer around here now is some what the plant would experience in its natural habitat. The temperature are in the 90s or so and 60s at night.
Its a fairly small plant. Thank you again. If you need anything else please let me know.
Grow info:
Water: distilled
Light: CFl lights
AnswerHi Weylin,
Nepenthes mira is not a good candidate to put outside. You want conditions very consistent for this plant, and outdoors much more variability and change occurs. Easy growers like hybrids, are much better outdoor plants for summertime.
Good Growing!
