Question

Prim rose   Allexpert,

This Primrose butterwort that I got from you guys two years ago.  Seems to be sending up more and more flowers.  Is the plant dying?  Is just keep sending up flowers.  However, it does send up a few leaves every now and again.  The reason I'm asking this is, this is odd behavior for this plant since having it.   It has 3 flowers now and send up a 4th.  Thank you for your time. Hi Weylin,

Your plant looks fine, and P. primuliflora is a prolific bloomer.  This behavior isn't unusual.  I find their bloom cycle is a bit more in tune to the seasons when they are grown as a perennial outdoors, but they are only hardy to zone 8.
