QuestionJeff,
I have a question pertaining to using net pots for CP cultivation. Have you and Jacob tried these net pots (the ones used for hydroponic cultivation)before? I could see the added advantage of aeration they would provide to plant's roots. Do you think they would be ideal for growing Darlingtonia??
Thanks Jeff!
AnswerHi Derick,
I have used them for Darlingtonia with very so-so results. The net pots seem to create more problems than they solve since the Darlingtonia stolons can grow through them. You end up with little plantlets that you can't salvage. They also don't seem to provide as much cooling as you think they would. Terracotta actually does a better job of that.
Good Growing!
