QuestionAllexperts,
I have a question about whether or not you can cut back a drosera Alicia, like you would a Lance leaf sundew? Will the plant comeback if I would to cut the plant at the soil line? How long will the plant comeback after I cut the plant at the soil line? Thank you for your time. I hope you have a great New Years.
Sincerely,
Weylin
AnswerHi Weylin,
D. aliciae responds well to decapitation. You should get several new shoots after doing that. Be patient, however. It could be a month before you see new growth. Be sure to keep the crown of the plant in bright light to encourage shoot development.
Good Growing!
